I owned the durasport legend G2 from 2010 to 2014 and it was great. Mine was wired 220v and my electric bill increased no more than $30 a month. The cover on that thing seals heat in which is where you loose a lot of your heat. The spray foam is sprayed around the walls of the tub like a house so that the heat that the pumps/motors your paying to make your water move is helping heat the water keeping that expensive heater from kicking off and on all day long. Don’t be afraid to purchase from this manufacturer!

The G2 tub is amazing. Our old tub was on its last leg for a couple years and when the heater gave out on it in the winter we knew it was time to replace it. When we saw the G2 on th show room floor we were instantly drawn to it as the cobblestone look was awesome and the tub came with these nice appearing bear proof hard covers. Bears have really become a probkem here next to the smokies as the population has boomed. After having to replace out our covers several times due to age or more recently bear damage this tub was a no brainer for us. We have owned this tub for too years now and are back here looking for another tub to replace old wood framed long lived Dinosaur fiberglass tub in our vacation rental that we own that failed. The tub was turned off by guests during their week-long stay in the winter and frooze causing major leaks not worth fixing.. We were amazed that they offer a version like our G2 that’s a vacation rental model with wifi (to warn us when unit is turned off) and it doesn’t have the jet baffles that can be turned off. (no more call that half the tubs not working). These G2 tubs are amazng.
